Gardening Class
Saturday, March 13th will be our first Vintage Gardening Class. We will be meeting at the church building at 1 pm. We wanted to keep this one pretty low-key, being our first venture of this sort and, if it is successful, perhaps doing another one later in the year of another topic (maybe basic home repair?).
We are going to split it up into a few parts:
- Setting up the garden/growing area, where to get compost and mulch in the city, and how/when to plant the seeds.
- Exchanging seeds.
- Maybe some other alternatives for growing your own food, such as keeping your own chickens, building a coop, etc.
We are planning to spend maybe 2-3 hours and cover a lot of ground.
